They also discussed potential pitfalls in using technology in government services and possible solutions that officials and citizens can take advantage of.

Perez also explained why she decided to use tech on her first production for Fox News Insider.

“I started working in tech because I wanted to use what I learned as a journalist to improve the lives of other people,” she explained.
